Royalties

A royalty is basically a percentage of your earnings. Most church groups, schools and/or amateur groups that perform “WAiT – It’s a Musical!” do NOT have to pay royalties, because they don’t have earnings from the show. A simple royalty rule-of-thumb – if you or your group make money off the show, then we earn a royalty.

Your group might need to pay royalties if:

* You plan on selling tickets or using the show to raise funds, and/or
* 1000 or more persons will watch the show.
